A new patch has just been released on Steam for the PC version of Deus Ex: Human Revolution. Among the issues addressed: performance and stuttering, the latter of which in our testing seemed to be eliminated, or very close to it. Additionally, intros can now be skipped, and a variety of bugs are now cured -- hit the source for the full details. With the notes comes some news which will be a bigger deal for some: NVIDIA 3D Vision and Surround support is on the way, meaning of course you can game in 3D and with multiple monitors on NVIDIA hardware. Though Deus Ex was sponsored by and optimized for AMD, apparently that isn't stopping Eidos Montreal from giving NVIDIA owners some love -- good to see both camps benefit for a change.
There's no ETA on the features, unfortunately, but we'll let you know when they hit.
