Devil May Cry fans know what they expect from the action series: they look for fast paced action sequences that require solid timing instead of button mashing. They expect large scale battles with insane bosses and hordes of monsters that barely give the player a second to breath.They also expect characters to take the dangerous settings lightly, with a large dose of sarcasm and a snarky outlook towards the supernatural surroundings they find themselves in. Well, DMC fans, take heart: Devil May Cry 4, the latest chapter in the series and the first true sequel in the Devil May Cry chronology maintains all of these trademarks while showcasing the power of the PS3 fairly well. 

The Warhammer series has normally been associated with the RTS (Real Time Strategy) genre in the past but with Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine, Relic have switched genres with surprisingly badass results. And that really is what Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine is all about in a nutshell – being a complete badass. It’s about jumping into battle with your battle brothers to take on hordes of bloodthirsty Orcs shooting, maiming, stabbing or curb stomping them in the process, no questions asked. Because that’s how Space Marines roll.

DEAD ISLAND:Sun, sand, beautiful women, late night parties and tons of alcohol are some of the things you’d associate with an awesome holiday. Now imagine zombies crashed in on that party, uninvited, eating pretty much everyone around you, beautiful girls included. Would you get real mad and start smashing their skulls in or would you stay locked in your room crying like a little girl at your misfortune? Dead Island encourages you to go in for option A after the undead bust up your holiday at a swanky resort on the fictional island of Banoi.

Deus ex:human revolution

“We are disappointed in our first quarter financial performance,” THQ's Brian Farrell admitted in fiscal results released to investors this week. The company posted a loss of $US38.4M, with Farrell laying much of the blame for the poor result on high-profile disappointment Red Faction: Armageddon. Appropriately enough for a game named after the End of All Things, the title turns out to be almost certainly the last in the series, with Farrell announcing that the company has no plans “to continue with that franchise in any meaningful way.”
