Long-awaited final chapter could be evolving into a full sequel.
Valve left Half-Life 2: Episode 2 with a memorable ending and a gigantic cliff-hanger. At least, that's what we think happened, but our memories are going fuzzy because it was over two years ago. The constantly-delayed Episode 3 hasn't been released yet, and Game Informer (via CVG) poses a rumor that we shouldn't look for it this year either. Valve may not be planning to bring the game out in 2010, and is unclear on whether Episode 3 will stay in the episodic model or become a full sequel.
