If you've played a previous game in the Call of Duty series you know what to expect from Modern Warfare 3 -- or so you think. Reductionist haters will choose to see it as more of the same. Those that choose to dig under the surface will find a game filled with subtle changes -- changes that may make the game the best multiplayer shooter on the market.

Call of Duty:The term "Elite" suggests the best of the best, an exclusive level of excellence reserved for a select few. If one analyst's prediction holds true, the members of Activision's Call of Duty Elite subscription service will be anything but exclusive.

The last thing I expected to be reminded of while playing the new survival mode for Modern Warfare 3 was a tower defense game. The co-op mode, which I'm told is endless, pits you against increasingly more challenging enemies that come at you in waves. As you kill enemies you earn money, which can be put toward buying new guns, refreshing your ammo, or, in true Call of Duty fashion, calling in an air strike. It's sort of like the horde mode from Gears of War meets Desktop Tower Defense.

Did you Pre-order the mysterious ‘Intel Pack’ edition of Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 3 from GAME or Gamestation? At the time I pre-ordered the game, they didn’t know what it contained, and a quick Google search also brings up many of the same questions from other customers. I got my poster with my initial deposit, but whether the Intel pack was extra maps or a soundtrack…who knew?
